A Hard Day’s Night (1964)

Nat Diego Natural Wine Festival

Enter the exciting world of natural wine! Nat Diego is a three-day festival packed with parties, winemakers, importers, and advocates of Natural wine. In addition to the wine, there will be live music, a double-decker bus cruise, a seafood lunch, and much more.

Farm to Bay
Aug. 5
Support coastal wildlife, education, and sustainability programs! At this annual fundraiser, you can enjoy tastes from over 40 food and beverage partners, experience animal encounters, and support sustainability with a Zero Waste event goal.

Chula Vista Lemon Festival
Aug. 9
Pucker up for the sweetest sour event of the year! Celebrate Chula Vista’s heritage as the “Lemon Capital of the World” at the 20th Annual Lemon Festival. The Festival brings crates full of summer fun with hundreds of vendor booths, live bands on two stages, a Kids’ Fun Zone, and everything lemon. This is a free event.

ArtWalk at Liberty Station
Aug. 12–13
Spend the weekend enjoying visual arts and music in beautiful Ingram Plaza. ArtWalk features an outdoor setting that is flat, grassy, and easily accessible for both artists and attendees. There will also be a shaded wine and beer pavilion and a street food area. This is a free event.

Summer Jazz Concert
Aug. 13
Enjoy an evening of jazz on the Gazebo Lawn. The Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame Orchestra will perform the music of Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Count Baise, Artie Shaw, Stan Kenton and many more.

Luau and Legends of Surfing Invitational
Aug. 13
Begin the day with a surfing tournament: sponsored teams will be paired with a surfing legend to vie for traditional trophies. Afterwards, celebrate with Luau festivities featuring traditional Polynesian dancing, live music, and a tropical buffet. Proceeds will benefit the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center.

Art in the Village
Aug. 13
Browse work from over 120 local and regional artists, including oil painting, watercolor, photography, sculpture, jewelry making, woodworking, pottery, clothing, and accessories. Enjoy live music, demos, and instruction throughout the day. This is a free event.

Hillcrest CityFest
Aug. 14
Stay past sundown and dance with Hillcrest’s best DJs under the neon Hillcrest sign! With games, activities, more than 250 vendors, live music, a beer garden, and much more, CityFest is a celebration of community and spirit in the heart of Hillcrest.

¡Latin Food Fest!
Aug. 18–19
Celebrate the Campanile Foundation’s Latin culinary extravaganza! The four-day Fest includes a kick-off party, a two-day ultimate tasting experience, and a private chef’s dinner. Every guest will have endless opportunities to indulge!

Chula Vista Harbor Fest
Aug. 19
Enjoy art, food, and fun for the whole family at Harbor Fest! There will be a “Tacos & Spirits Fest,” live music, and entertainment on three stages. Water activities include kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. You can also take a ride on a Vietnam-era Swift Boat or tour the Bay on the amphibious SEAL Bus. This is a free event.

Ramona Country Fair
Aug. 24–27
Get ready for a good ol’ time at this old fashioned County Fair! Enjoy thrilling rides, live entertainment, a Wild West show with real cowboys, a motorcycle rally, and much more! Food, beverages, crafts, and goods will be available as well. This is a free event.

Imperial Avenue Street Festival
Aug. 26
Celebrate the rich history, art, and culture of the Greater Logan Heights community, from its rich African-American roots to the strong Latino influence that exists today. Groove to the sounds of live music from multiple stages, browse the offerings of local artists and craftsmen, and feast on gourmet food and beverages. This is a free event.

The Pancakes & Booze Art Show
Aug. 26–27
Come to San Diego’s largest underground art show, featuring 50+ local emerging artists, live body painting, and a free pancake bar.
