San Diego County Fair
June 2–Jul. 4
Don’t miss carnival rides and games, art exhibits, beautiful flower and garden shows, farm animals, car shows, food, and live music! This year’s theme is “Where the West is Fun.” Celebrate the legendary Wild, Wild West at the San Diego County Fair!

Oysterfest Music Festival
June 9–10
Celebrate the oyster by rocking out to big-name national touring indie acts while celebrity chefs prepare delectable oyster dishes. Additional attractions include a “Schuck and Suck” competition, cooking demos, and a beer garden. 21+ only.

Film Out San Diego
June 9–11
Immerse yourself in this exciting LGBT film festival, which will showcase 37 films. Screenings will include international and regional premieres of award-winning features and short films. Q&A sessions follow most films, with directors and cast members in attendance.

Greek Festival
June 9–11
Join your family, friends, and neighbors for Greek food, music, dancing, a church tour, wine tasting, and beer at the St. Spyridon Greek Festival. There will also be a kids’ fun zone for the little ones! This is a free event; donations are encouraged.

Fido Fest
June 10
Bring your two-legged and four-legged friends to this doggie extravaganza! Petco will be on site with rescue pups waiting to be adopted. There will also be vaccinations, microchipping, dog licensing, and live entertainment. This is a free event.

Inter-Tribal PowWow
June 10–11
Experience dancing and drumming by diverse tribes from all over California and the U.S. at the Inter-Tribal PowWow, sponsored by the San Luis Rey Mission Indian Foundation. There will also be booths with arts, crafts and delicious food. This is a free event.
Time: 9 am–11 pm Saturday, 9 am–6 pm Sunday

San Diego Festival Of The Arts
June 11–12
Stroll the turf of Waterfront Park at this prestigious juried art show, held to benefit disabled San Diego residents. This event showcases works by over 200 fine artists in a bay view setting. Entertainment, delicious foods, fine wine and craft beer will be available.

Taste of La Mesa
June 12
Enjoy entertainment and sample fare from local restaurants and food providers. Beverages will be available at additional cost.

Beer & Sake Festival
June 16
Dine on sumptuous appetizers from local restaurants while you taste a wide selection of tasty beers and sakes. There will also be art booths, a silent auction, a raffle, and exciting entertainment, including San Diego Taiko. Proceeds from the Festival support educational and community outreach programs. 21+ only.

San Diego International Beer Festival
June 16–18
Have a cold one with your friends! Hundreds of award-winning varieties of ale, cider, mead, and more will be available for tastings. Festival admission includes San Diego County Fair admission.

OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off
June 24
Join more than 70,000 visitors for tasty nosh, art, beachfront entertainment, shopping, and more. The Chili Competition will feature tastings from amateur entrants competing for titles. Attendees of all ages can take part in creating the annual Street Fair Community Mural. This is a free event.
Time: 10 am–8 pm

Scottish Highland Games and Gathering
June 24–25
Enjoy Scottish country and highland dancing, piping, drumming, athletics, and sheep dog trials during this celebration of Scottish culture. There will also be authentic Scottish food and drink.

Philippine Cultural Arts Festival
June 24–25
Celebrate Filipino culture at this family-friendly event! There will be live performances, traditional foods, and workshops in everything from the Tagalog language to Tinikling, the national dance of the Philippines. This is a free event.

Taste of Adams Avenue
June 25
Go on an adventurous tasting tour of over 40 restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, wine bars, and unique eateries! Taste attendees can also explore the many distinctive shops along the Adams Avenue business corridor.
